LEARNING OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT:

To enhance children´s and adult´s repertoire about the concept of house; to elaborate and concretize a participative architecture project inside of an early childhood public school; to collectively create a tree house that incorporate some elements of the Brazilian house, the children´s thought and technical knowledges about architecture.

 

BUDGET:

Around 5.000,00 USD for the material. The hand-labor was donated.

Pedro: Look, the tree house was a dream of the children because they wanted a tree house. They wanted a lot a tree house, and then they started to project it, and then they have done the tree house. Hey, Sofia!

Sofia: It was a very special day, with this (the binocular) we can see all the birds!

Pedro: When we... One of the houses have a roof so that it won´t rain on it, the other doesn´t have a roof so that we can see the birds.

Pedro: A tree house is something that can be on top of a tree, or could be a house that pass a tree through it.
