Selected and awarded projects
The scientific committee of the First International Biennal of Education in Architecture for Children and Youngsters has selected the projects that will be exhibited in Pontevedra, the honorific mentions and the winners. This committee is comprised of Santiago Atrio (Vice-dean at the Education Faculty of the Autonomous University of Madrid, Spain), Angela Million Uttke (Member of the JAS Association and teacher at the Technical University of Berlin, Germany), Marta Morelli (Educational Department at MAXXI, the National Museum of 21st Century Arts, Rome, Italy), Jaana Räsänen (Finnish Architecture Information Centre, Finland, Helsinki) and Pablo Rojas (Head of the Department of Education and Training in Arts and Culture of National Council of Culture and the Arts of Chile (CNCA).
The assessment is based on the following criteria:
1. Critical reflection on public space (School, urban or rural space).
2. Physical and / or symbolic transformation of the spaces by students, through artistic languages ​​(architecture, painting, sculpture, literature, cinema, theater, dance, etc.)
3. Process of education as a creative process (Research, Formulation, Research and Work)
4. Originality of the process
5. Quality of the submitted documentation
